Billy Preston & Syreeta Version  PS.mp3 John Legend & Mariah Carey Live Version (VH1 save the music 2005) JM.mp3   　　我因你而重生，爱到了极致，也便是如此了吧。   　　很久以前，在一本杂辑中，无意中听到了这首歌，一首老歌了，唱歌的人都已经作古。   　　很欣赏男女对唱的歌曲，情歌本应该这样，就像情人之间的爱，本来就是两个人的事——一个人唱的歌，只是思念，暗自表白，或者痛苦……   　　一个哀怨的开始，最承受不住的小提琴的悲伤情调，男声的灵歌唱腔，女声的空灵气质，构成了一副痴情恋人的告白，只是这告白为何如此的让人想要落泪，或许这背后隐藏着生离死别——这首歌用来当作爱情悲剧的主题曲，再合适不过了。   　　歌词，很简单——痴情，痴狂，重生；旋律，也不复杂——同样的主题，同样的副歌，不断的重复。只是感情不断的升华，听到那段好似明媚的间奏后，还一度幻想男女主人公的走进了真正的童话，却没料到真正的结局依然催人泪下……   　　很欣赏Syreeta在高潮部分的那段高音伴唱，我承认最初也是这段伴唱让我很快地注意了这首其实并不十分抢眼的歌，随后，我也有机会爱上其中的哀怨。   　　后来，听到了Mariah Carey和John Legend合唱的现场版本，John Legend的哀怨胜过Billy Preston，Mariah Carey虽不及Syreeta空灵，她略带沙哑的嗓音却更能营造一种气氛。   　　多年不听这首歌，近日偶遇，又感动的不能自已——真正的好歌，在一种特殊的情境之中，总能打动每一位听者。           William Everett Preston (September 2, 1946 – June 6, 2006) was an American soul musician from Houston, Texas, raised mostly in Los Angeles, California. In addition to his successful, Grammy-winning career as a solo artist, Preston collaborated with some of the greatest names in the music industry, including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Nat King Cole, Little Richard, Ray Charles, George Harrison, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, King Curtis, Sammy Davis Jr., Sly Stone, Aretha Franklin, the Jackson 5, Quincy Jones, Richie Sambora, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
